Carlson’s Drive-In announces the long-awaited reopening for their 70th year serving delicious hot dogs and home-made root beer.
The long wait is almost over as residents yearn for the familiar chili dogs and home-made root beer at Carlson’s Drive-In.
The restaurant announced they will be reopening Thursday, February 15 once again starting their 70th year serving hot dogs, sausages, sandwiches, and more.
Carlson’s has set a long-time tradition in Michigan City that many residents look forward to. The restaurant normally closes each year near the end of October and reopens a few months later in February.
Although they aren’t slinging their famous Chicago style dogs and fresh root beer, the business opens its parking lot during the holidays to sell Christmas trees.
Carlson’s is located at 118 W Coolspring Ave. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
