MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. — The Salvation Army of Michigan City will be offering families with children in Michigan City area schools an opportunity to trade in their gently used school uniforms for updated sizes to fit their children according to a Facebook post posted by the organization.

“We have uniforms available for pre-k through adult sizes,” they stated in the post.

The School Uniform Exchange Program allows families to exchange “one-for-one” articles of approved “Dress for Success” clothing for other approved clothing of the right sizes for their children including shirts, shorts, skirts, and pants.

Donations of any gently used school uniforms will also be accepted and appreciated.

Families wanting to exchange or donate their school uniforms can stop in at the Salvation Army of Michigan City located at 1201 Franklin Street from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on July 30 and also on August 1, 6, 8, and 13.
